Part One –
I felt like my overall result of my e-pub book was satisfying and good. I am satisfied with my ending result and I think in the end it all looked good. My e-pub I think would have turned out better if I had more time that what we were given. I know that was my fault about the time because I could have prepared more and planned more so I knew exactly what I was doing and so it wouldn’t have been or felt so rushed. If I could change any aspects of my final project I think I would of added hyperlinks. I saw Christie’s e-pub and she showed me her hyperlinks that link her to her blog. I wish I had the time and planning to do that to my book because I believe it would have looked good and smart to do. I would have also liked to put photos in the scenes but didn’t have the time to. If I could start the project again I would defiantly plan more and use my time sufficiently and sensibly to my advantage to get on top and get most of it done in class instead of doing it at home.
Part Two –
I think that both my e-pub and poster have turned out relatively close to what I pictured them to look like. I think that my poster even turned out better than what I pictured. I really liked what my poster turned out to look like; I pictured it to have my character, Noah standing on top of the world and then have “Our World” in a cool title. This is obviously much different to what it turned out to look like. I really like what it ended up looking like. My e-pub, I really didn’t know what to expect what it would end up looking like but I am happy with the ending result. My poster does clearly depict the style of animation I was going for and shows a bit of the film in it because there are different landmarks in the poster where Noah ends up visiting. There were a few technical difficulties I encountered throughout the making of my e-pub. One was that my scenes of my film wouldn’t export and wouldn’t move into my e-pub. This made me a little freaked out of course but I got Mr Andrews to help me out and all was sorted in the end J other than that little difficulty and me taking my USB out and causing rainbow wheel to appear, there wasn’t any more massive technical difficulties. For starts, I didn’t have the proper film on my USB, only my partner Grace did but I got that off the class desktop, and next I found out I didn’t have Graces scenes either on my USB to record myself talking over but I solved that problem by putting the whole film into imovie and just cutting Graces scenes out and recording myself over them. I didn’t use anything like content-lists or flowcharts, my planning consisted of writing down what I hoped to do, typing up my scenes and then having them recorded by me and putting that onto my e-pub. I haven’t put much of my planning onto my blog which I should have done just incase it got deleted, Mr Andrews could have seen if I have actually done something. This I have to get better at doing for most of my subjects also.
